Drawing from early Buddhist frameworks, the session will focus on what meditation is designed to cultivate, how to give simple and effective guidance, and how to understand the inner mechanics of attention, distraction, and awareness so instructions feel grounded rather than scripted.
Participants will learn how to frame meditation for students, support common challenges, and connect practice to real outcomes like steadiness, insight, and compassion. The workshop will also briefly compare the Buddhist Eightfold Path and the yogic Eight Limbs to help teachers see where the traditions overlap and how each can inform the way they guide students.
In-person workshop and live-streamed option to join via zoom. Recording will be available.
