This yoga class aims to create awareness and strength while cultivating mental focus and curiosity. Conscious flow encourages students to move through the various yogic asana movements with presence and kindness, and, from this place, compassion and radical acceptance naturally evolve.
This Conscious Flow class blends strength, precision, and fluid movement for a mindful, alignment-focused practice. Emphasizing body awareness and safe alignment through functional movement, we’ll explore dynamic sequences that balance challenge with intention. Ideal for practitioners seeking depth in movement and understanding, this class supports a connected, sustainable approach to vinyasa.
This class is not concerned with how deep you can go in a pose or what you look like in the pose. Conscious flow yoga class encourages mindful, supple movements and centering on the gift of stillness.

This is a slow-paced and quiet class where most of the poses will be done seated or laying down. If props such as blankets, blocks, straps, and bolsters are available, we will use them all :) In the Yin portion of the practice, we will hold a pose for 3-5 minutes to stretch the body and also find ease and calmness at the same time. Yin yoga is a form of long hold stretch that brings stimulation to the fascia and joints of the body through holding postures and utilizing props to help hold the body in an intense yet stable position. In the Restorative portion of the practice, we will hold the pose for about 5 minutes. Our bodies will be helped by props so we can completely relax, let go, and melt away.

This class offers the benefits of vinyasa yoga with movements for the first half of the class, and in the second half of the class we will slow down with Yin and restorative yoga. Combining these two styles together will lead you to an invigorated body and a calm mind. Yin yoga is a form of long hold stretch that brings stimulation to the fascia and joints of the body through holding postures and utilizing props to help hold the body in an intense yet stable position. The latter portion of the class will integrate restorative yoga, a practice in which the body is placed in comfortable and fully supported postures so the nervous system can fully open and relax.

In this class, we will warm up the targeted part of the body with myofascial release work using two tennis balls (or something similar). Then we will start moving our body with yoga movements.

This class combines yoga with the dynamic movements using body-weight to strengthening your whole body. In this style, we warm-up and cool down the body just like a typical Vinyasa class but then we began to strengthen the body exercises from different fitness modalities. Expect to work hard in this class as the focus is core/glutes stabilizing and strengthening!

Strength class harmonizes the practice of yoga and the benefits of weight lifting. The added weight provides the resistance needed to strengthen, tone, and improve the regular movement of your day. Bring your dumbbells to class (maybe 3lb and/or 5lbs), if you don’t have weights, you could use bottles of wine or a can of beans as your weight :)

In this class, we will use the astrological influence of the moon as a driving force to theme the yoga class.

In this class, we will use myofascial release (self-massage) techniques to explore our muscles and connective tissue and find some relief in parts of our bodies that commonly hold tension. We'll also explore the effects of gentle physical pressure on our nervous system. I recommend having two tennis balls (or similar) of the same size as well as a blanket or towel—if you have a foam roller or any other recovery tool you like to use, bring it!

In this class, we will learn one pranayama (breathing) technique paired with meditation. Thousands of years ago, asana (the physical part of yoga practice) was created to train the body to be still simply for the act of meditation. Come learn how to cultivate your own meditation practice as you are introduced to the process and gently guided.

In this discussion, we will learn the yoga philosophy in easy to digest ‘bite-sized’ approach. Yoga philosophy will be offered in a way that is easy to understand and practical, so we can quickly utilize what we learn, in our everyday life. This is a discussion so participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts ;)

This is a short 30 minutes class where we will focus on strengthening our core in all different directions.

This is a monthly FREE community zoom yoga class where we raise awareness and donation towards the non-profit organization of the month that studio members have voted on. Most of the time, the representative from the organization will be present at this class to give us a short presentation on amazing work that they do.

Workshop Description:
In this workshop, we will discuss the principles of Ayurveda and Yoga in relation to mental health. Ayurveda, the ancient Science of Life, is a holistic system of medicine that takes into account all aspects of the human being when it comes to maintaining health and fighting disease. Without addressing the mind, we neglect a significant factor in our ability to stay healthy and vital.
Although often treated as two separate practices in the States, the sister sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda have been practiced in India for thousands of years together as part of an integrated and complete system of well-being. We will be discussing some of the principles used in Ayurveda that overlap with those of yoga, especially in the realm of the mind.
Our workshop will conclude with a discussion on some Ayurvedic and yogic practices that are supportive in maintaining a healthy mind. Workshop participants will also be given time during and at the end of the presentation to ask any questions they may have.

It can result in deep relaxation, yet acute awareness at the same time. It is quite the experience!
We will begin with a few rounds of Surya Namaskar A (Sun Salutation A) to allow for gentle body movement before resting in stillness through the guided meditation for ~35 minutes.

We’ll dive into the timeless teachings of Yoga through a lens of ancient mystery systems found in Kemet (Ancient Egypt), Toltecs and the Indus Valley. A decolonized view of “our story” rather than “history” is to see a shared story from the perspective of the Sacred Feminine. It’s a simple shift of perspective to cycles rather than the straight line. This workshop weaves together these sacred traditions with the ethical frameworks of the Yamas and Niyamas, the moral compass of yoga.
All ancient civilizations understood the body as a temple and the mind as a gateway to divine consciousness expressed as Osiris/Horus, Krishna, The Hero Twins, Christ and on. We’ll explore the roots of yoga to the strategic power of non-violence (Ahimsa) and inner restraint in global liberation movements from Gandhi to King. Through lecture, meditation, breath, journaling, and discussion, we’ll reclaim yoga not just as fitness or a wellness practice, but as a revolutionary path of self-mastery, social justice, and spiritual power.
